Will la tete rouge:
Auto Hits from being in base contact. They automatically hit but still have to roll to wound right?
eg. Elves charge a Kdaii. The five in the front rank take an automatic st 4 hit. I roll 5 dice and get (1, 3, 3, 6, 6).
The elves have only light armour and so 4 are dead.
That’s right yeah?
Samanos:
if the unit has light armour only then yes, 4 are dead with no armor saves.

Its the rolling to wound, I was unsure about. I read it as they auto hit BUT I still have to roll to wound.
I played somebody the other day who said that they are auto wounded - I didnt need to roll to wound and he was so sure that I started doubting myself.
furrie:
yes you still need to roll to wound
Hashut’s Blessing:
It would say automatically wounded and wouldn’t mention the strength value if they autowounded. It means you count as having successfully rolled to hit only.

great.
How do you find the unstable thing? Have you ever lost a Kdaai to unstable? - (the wound per point lost combat by thing)
Also, the must reroll successful 'to wound' rolls if not using magic attacks. Does this mean poison attacks have to reroll or not?
Thommy H:
Poisoned Attacks aren’t necessarily magical. If they’re inflicted by a magic weapon, spell or a unit with magical attacks (like Daemons) they’ll be affected, but otherwise no.
Jake:
Successfull poisoned attacks never roll to wound, so there’s nothing to re-roll.
What Thommy answered I have no idea.
Thommy H:
I misread the question. Ignore me.

Will la tete rouge: Without grabbing my book, I can tell you that it says he’s Unstable under his profile and probably on his bestiary entry as well.
I’ve never lost one to combat resolution before, just lots and lots and lots and lots of Vampire screaming (2 Terrogheists, plus Banshees and the screamy sword of annoying do that…).
If the wound comes from a Poison attack (I.E. they rolled a 6 To Hit and don’t need to roll To Wound) then there is no re-roll: they haven’t rolled To Wound so there isn’t anything they could re-roll. If they got less than a 6 To Hit (but still hit anyway), then they still have to re-roll any successful To Wound rolls.

The poison thing seems bad then, hmmm still 4+ Ward.
The unstable thing bothers me more, gotta make those 6 + D3 attacks count more I think.
Thanx for all the help guys.

Hashut's Blessing
The strength value can still be mention, for any armour save modifiers
