The second has a real samurai feel about it and looking at the first again I can’t help but transfer that reasoning to it as well

Dwarfs are slow on the uptake! :hat off

Dwarfs are slow on the uptake! :hat offNeeds a dozen peer-reviews and half a century of field testing before anything new can be approved by a dwarf.

"And those Goblins were much more fearful in my day! I want enemies that were as ferocious as those monsters I faced when young. Not these weak sissies. Grumble, grumble."
We’re grateful for anyone sharing news and finds that could in some manner be of relevance or inspirational use to Chaos Dwarfs in whatever shape, whether it be in AoS, KoW, T9A or anything else completely. The scene is no longer one of a monolithic Warhammer Fantasy dominating the niche of massed fantasy wargaming - with everyone looking up to Games Workshop’s latest goings-on as the obvious reference point - but is instead a kaleidoscope of different editions and games, with people drifting between them and often playing whatever they happen to get opponents for locally. We’ve forked out as a community, and it’s good if we can keep in touch, sharing CD-relevant stuff between systems.
That something has been out long in one setting doesn’t mean much when there is no longer any one obvious common setting for all fantasy wargamers. Please share anything potentially of interest to Chaos Dwarfs you find in whatever system you’re into.
Will get a chance to play AoS soon, by the way, and catch up some on goings-on in that setting. While T9A remains healthy around here as the direct unbroken inheritor of WHFB, Age of Sigmar does well enough nowadays and run tournaments along T9A and 40k in middle Sweden, the epicentre of the Composition System back in 8th edition. Remember the Swedish Composition System? That’s the circle which spawned the 9th Age, swelling quickly with participants internationally.
