IMO SP should be more powerful than the average wizard (at this rate a Skaven wizard is more powerful)

Also a nitpick, give his weapon more attacks.

Doing either of these is tempting but would make him more powerful than a Chaos Sorcerer-Lord. Not sure that would be right.

Shaven are more natural magic users, so I think that's probably right. Astragoth will be a more powerful wizard though.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Turns out we are getting an update!!! Woooooo!!! Now I won’t have to scrap my 6 boxes of stormvermin :D:D:D:D

Not gonna lie I’m not too disappointed. I like where this is going. The rules are a little too simple and I hate that there is no balancing mechanism, but rumors are already going around that they will be releasing a BRB similar in size to a 8th edition hardcover rulebook and complicating it a bit. The new game is sooooo much less stressful and my feet and brain don’t feel like dying after I play 1 fair sized game.

It needs tweaking, but I think the future looks bright. Lets get on board guys, we can always go back to 8th if it sucks.

From someone on Dakka who went to FW open day today

Spent a long time talking to Alan Bligh about various bits and pieces. For the non heresy stuff, they’ll be releasing warscrolls for their Warhammer Forge things in the next month or two, and they would like to do another book in the future if time permits.
On the writing front I understand they’ve written the next 3 HH books already and sculptors stuck way behind.
