Hi All, I’ve been thinking about this for a bit, but I just haven’t posted. My son has a MageKnight “steam knight” laying around the house and it would be perfect to use for an Astragoth conversion. You can’t really see the back of it in this picture, but it would be very easy to work with. You would just have to clip off the robot bits and stick a dwarf on top.
Crube :
Looks like a good basis - my only concern would be the height. He’d certainly need his legs trimming slightly. But hey, it’s a conversion that’s the sort of thing you do
Canix :
could be good it would need bulking out and a beard ,maybe a hat too :hat

tjub :
Cool idea! I think it would work out well, add a beard and a hat to the head and maybe just but the feet between the torso and thies(?)
Loki :
ya that could work but needs a big hat , great work on the ms paint tjub
Hazkar :
definately a good mini for a conversion
but will your son allow you to convert his mage knight mini? wow tjub this is a master piece
really like all the details;P
Groznit Goregut :
That is really funny. I wish I had a better picture. From the rear or side, it really looks nice. My son probably wouldn’t allow me to use his Mage Knight, but I could buy a new one for less than $1 off the internets.
Kera foehunter :
That’s going to look great Groznit
Border Reiver :
Go for it - but see if your boy notices that the mini is gone first…
