Auretious Taak:

That or he needs to move to WARMACHINE where everyone plays as if they have a pair. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d make a suggestion that any forum or bartering place you are a member of, to post the details above there, spread it as far and wide as you can and try and stymy this girl here and now.

I’ve posted on The Golden Throne here:

Cheers all,

Is there any way to contact the local police?

I know a friend here in the US that bought an ebay army (back when ebay was really knew). The guy never shipped it and was blowing him off. My friend called the local sheriff, which was somewhere in Texas. I was pretty surprised when the local Texan sheriff helped out when it was about little plastic space men (40K) and the guy had probably never heard of ebay before (this was a while ago). The Sheriff showed up and my friend got his army a short while later.

I’m always wary about these things, since they can sometimes be revenge. I’ve heard of Ebay buyers threatening to give a bad rating if the seller doesn’t drop the price!

Willmark:

eBay’s balance of power is very out of whack right now. With the changes they made last spring where sellers cant give negative feedback and all… Wow there is no reason to sell there right now.

Of course this came about with sellers of 10,000+ feedback threatening to give neg feedback to a buyer which means absolutely nothing to a buyer… but most buyers didn’t know that…

In short I’m glad I have almost everything I need from vultureBay.

It may have changed but I haven’t bought anything there in a year, mostly I go to the warstore or occasionally use bartertown.

Well it started as an inter-forum trade. The person "wrongly accused" could have publicly engaged in the discussion if they wanted. And it was more than one person affected from what I read.

AGPO:

Of course that assumes essexgirl was indeed a girl.

Willmark
Well its Essex you never can tell. I was driving through Colchester (in Essex for all you foreigners) and saw a banner on a roundabout reading "HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!"

To the advice on trades I would add:

4. If buying from a forum, always check that the member in question is established and has a good record on trades. If you are in any doubt, ask the forum staff.

Willmark:

Funny I saw that same banner driving through Kentucky or wait was it Tennessee?
