The reason I’m drawing attention to this is because of the knock on effect it will have for Warhammer Forge and ultimately for Chaos Dwarfs.
Long story short I asked on warseer if FW could do these, they read the thread and decided to. I asked Mark Bedford if WF would do some and he said yes. So eventually we may be able to ask all sorts of interesting questions about chaos dwarfs and see their response.
Presumably there will be a big enough following anyway for the 40k ones to justify them doing some for WF.
Now that I’ve seen all 3 I think the guys did a great job.
Alan is clearly very knowledgeable on 40k background and I imagine the book will be awesome. I found it useful listening to Simon as well, if I’d thought about it the teamwork between all of them is obviously important, but I hadn’t really considered the authors having much involvement in the model design process.
I’m really looking forwards to hearing Mark Bedford’s comments on the skullcracker. Ideally they’d get Tim Adcock on there to explain it all himself, but Mark would be fine.
I don’t care how Alan wears his beard or if he prefers black clothes… he writes good stories and that’s what matters to me. I just preordered my copy of Badab War II yesterday, hopefully it will arrive within my vacation. Can’t wait to read about the Minotaurs!
