Here is a balanced list for use locally by me. There are no lords.
Some questions:
1) What lores should I take on the Daemonsmiths?
2) How should I deploy the Daemonsmiths?
3) Should I replace the charmed shield with an enchanted shield if I decide to put the Daemonsmith with it in a unit of infernal guard?
4) Should I give the Infernal Castellan BSB any weapon upgrades?
5) Should I swap 1 unit of Infernal Guard for 2 units of 10 w/fireglaives, champions and naphtha bombs?
6) Any other suggestions?

1. Your Daemonsmiths will likely be hiding in the rear telling your war machines what they are doing wrong so your spells will need range. Lore of Fire is always solid in that regard. I like Metal as well as it has some handy augments that make Infernal Guard shine. So perhaps one of each?
2. Hiding in the back field but in front of your war machines so they have some sort of visibility to cast their spells. And also within 3" of at least a machine or two (for rerolls and Look Out, Sir! as needed).
3. Both are good and I don’t think you can go wrong either way. Invariably whichever you pick, you’ll say during the game “I knew I should have taken the other one!” =)
4. The Castellan should either have a Great Weapon or a 5 point magic weapon in case a bunch of Ethereal models try and ruin your units day. His real job is just to survive and make the unit Stubborn so the Mask is perfect!
5. I 'm not sold on Fireglaives yet but I haven’t entirely discounted them either. You already have a lot of ranged firepower so maybe Great Weapons for a unit that has real punch!
