Has anyone played any of these scenario? i.e. Skullvane Manse or even the area ones like Lustria?

I cant even seem to find reviews of these and since i dont have apple i cant buy them either…

Bloodbeard:

Donn’t even know what it is.

Extra scenarios? Could use some more. 6 is a bit little, bassically 5, we never play watchtower.

And only 3 for triumph and treachery. Anyone have some good scenarios, please share.

ClawLeader:

Tenebre you are referring to the rules governing the lustria summer campaign right? If I remember you had man eating plans and loose formations and a couple other rules.

You could see if some one has them to share. I do not though.

ThorAxe:

I have the border wars one. From the descriptions, the other battlefields are fairly similar. It is simply a mini campaign, with two people declaring one of 5 moves secretly, showing their action, then checking on a chart to see the scenario they play, any changes or strategems they gain, and the effects this battle will have on the following battle. Armies remain mostly the same from battle to battle, although some battles give your extra 10% or minus 10% or so depending on previous battles, or missions. There are also a handful of extra missions given; the border wars one I have has one or two extra missions alongside extra raiding missions (kill teams-esque) and a final stand mission, where one army is half the size of the other, and must see how long they can survive. With tweaking, you can set it up for multiple people to play. Fairly amusing.

The battlefield challenges aren’t too exciting in my opinion, just an extra mission.

The civil war one can be awesome. Two armies of the same factions must fight eachother. They gain an additional 20% or 25% in points that is not affected by army composition (example in white dwarf was 3 cannons and wizard for empire), and that part can get quite cheesy. Then, you roll on a generic chart to see what changes occur in this game (eg: standards are worth extra points, X number of units vanguard, etc), and then you roll on the faction specific chart for extra changes (eg: Skaven have results that benefit each individual major clan, the generic warlord clans, and endless swarm type result where clanrats that die respawn as reinforcements, one where grey seers get crazy magic with always worst miscast result, etc)

The civil war supplement I find is the most entertaining of the bunch, and the easiest to set up in a relatively short time. The only problem is that all the races have their own fluffy results that can be rolled on a chart except for chaos dwarfs, and there isn’t a chat that quite matches chaos dwarfs…

Thank you Thor for the review. Is it possible to print them?

ThorAxe:

It is somewhat difficult to print the ones from the ipad, as they only have the fancy not-pdf ipad version where you tap rules to see what they are. Someone could take screenshots of relevant pages though.

The Civil War supplement was in white dwarf, though the full rules were spread across 4 different white dwarfs (something like 4 factions per white dwarf, rules on how to play in the first one of the set). I’m sure somewhere has the rules available as a pdf

tenebre:

ah got it. thanks! hmmm think i would have a hard time convincing the wife to give me use of her ipad for that long :stuck_out_tongue: they REALLY need to issue these in a chronicle or at least pdf format
