[Archive] Big noses and bigger hats. OOP Dawi Zharr!

Red Skullz:

Details on how I made this contest entr and even a little piece fluff on the piece in my blog  note that I made this so it could work as a gaming piece as well. Sorcerer prophet on a great taurus  Go Santa Zharr!

Artisan’s contest XVI entry | bigbossredskullz

Bloodbeard:

Congratulations on the silver RedSkullz! Great entry.

The only thing missing on this piece is a bit of leg work on the taurus - the photo from the side looks weird.

I was very happy to see a zhanta entry!

Red Skullz:

Thanks guys  was a very involved build actually and probably one of the more expensive kitbashes I’ve done  so I had to have it as a playable miniature.

@Herby: thanks for the vote mate  yeah I was very excited on how the sack would turn out but I wanted the shape of it to clearly show all of the packages.

@Bloodbeard: thanks mate  I get what you say about the legs as I could’ve done more to convey a sense of movement.

Yodrin:

GZ on the silver medal, its an awesome piece!!

BABIS:

So awesome! Santa Zharr had my vote, a very well deserved win, congrats!

And the fact that Santa Zharr has a whip makes him all the cooler :cheers

Red Skullz:

Thank you and congrats to you as well mate

Man this is almost getting overwhelming

Red Skullz:

New BoLS article out. Continuing on my kdaai destroyer build

Red Skullz:

Taking a break from CD now. I think it will be wise before I kill my hobby motivation as I kinda hit the wall progress-wise. Nothing dramatic though. Last BoLS update was yesterday on the CD project as I’m out of material (not literally, still got tons of stuff just nothing worth showing).

I hope that my BoLS article series has helped more people realize what a great forum this is though I’m certain it would prosper despite of it.

I’ll return eventually with my sons of ice and I’ll comment sporadically. My mind is on DKoK now and that’s what I’ll feature on BoLS next.

Thanks to everyone commenting on this plog and making it a very enjoyable run

Regards,

Tommy

Malorndk:

Thanks for inspiring us. Please come back to us someday with a finished Destroyer <3

Yodrin:

Ikke vent for lenge med å returnere;)

Hope to see you soon though so you may inspire us some more!!!

Admiral:

Thanks for sharing with us! You’ve done some marvellous things on your Chaos Dwarfs, and I’m sure we’ll see more of it in the future when you return. Best of luck with Death Korps of Krieg, and feel free to keep us updated on them in the Off-topic log section. Few things can beat DKoK in 40k.

Abecedar:

Bon voyage. hope you enjoy the change.

Red Skullz:

Cheers everyone for the kind words

Was a good idea running my DKoK in the appropriate subforum, hadn’t thought of that

Au revoir  (the sooner the better)
