richard barby:

the black hamemr in the loa instand kills flamable models a brilliant weapon with the ash storm spell

but i noticed it doesnt have flameing attacks it kind of seams to me it should have it or have i missed it when i read the rules for it .

Grimbold Blackhammer:

The Black Hammer of Hashut does not cause Flaming Attacks.

Grimbold Blackhammer

Da Crusha:

yeah, the black hammer doesn’t have flaming attacks. it was the same way in ravening hordes.

richard barby:

bit odd though right

The Besieger:

No need to be flaming attacks

Your enemy general (or other char) dont have the wards safe 2+ vs flaming

Thommy H:

You will still get Regeneration saves against it though.

Marduk:

It IS odd. The rule of instantly killing flammable enemies would be adequate for a particularly potent flaming weapon.

On the other hand, horlely’s argument is true. With so many items currently available that provide 2+ Ward Save against flaming attacks at very low costs, it is probably not bad that the Black Hammer does not cause flaming attacks. Still, it does not make much sense to me.
