I added some armour plates to the back as well, as that area looked a bit too smooth. Notice the one using an axe blade as armour.
Here you can see how well the legs joined. I think if I had been really skilled I could have done the join perfectly without needing greenstuff at all.
Lastly a shot from the top, so you can see how I got them to rank up.

Very nice I think the head guard and read eyes work very well. only one question is how the armour plats on the boars rump stay on?

I’ve been wanting to do these since the plastic black orcs came out, but the rubbish GW boars always stopped me.
I was saying over on da warpath that if I were to build a full Orc list I’d use these as orc big uns. What I am probably going to do is to make a display army only, and convert/sculpt some proper black orcs on boars and put them on 40mm bases. Those would be seriously huge models, the boars would have barding.
As a display unit I was thinking of making these to 15 models, and use all the spare parts towards a decent looking unit of orcs on foot. Then I’d just have to bulk them out with new GW orc boyz (which I am reliably told will be redone when they finally get a new book).
