[Archive] Blazing Body

Bloodbeard:

If the target unit moves in any way - the whole unit takes damage

Lore of Fire
Does moving a champion for a challenge really count as movement? That's definitely not rules as intended.

Kera foehunter:

Kind of a misleading title:o was looking for those who has a Blazing body lol

Grimbold Blackhammer:

Q: Can characters change position inside a unit as part of a
normal move?(p97)
A: Yes, as long as they end up in the rank closest to the front
of the unit that has a space in. It is also worth remembering
that even if only the character moves the whole unit will
count as moving that turn. Having a belligerent officer barge
his way through the unit is not conducive to a good round of
shooting!

Yes it’s gamey.  But apparently legal.

And my crystal ball is broken so I can’t speak as to what the RAI are…

Grimbold Blackhammer
Nice!!

Hashut’s Blessing:

It’s not “apparently” legal, nor gamey - it’s exactly what it is, lol. People only think it’s gamey because they didn’t spot it, when everything indicates it should be that way (the original rules, the FAQ and the rules as intended). The Chalice, may be gamey because its FAQ changed what we believe to be it’s originally intended use.

Also, Kera, I’m right here…
