Carcearion:

Wow really great sets! My favorite is probably the dungeon doors they look amazing, but the frostgrave treasure tokens are probably the best I’ve ever seen.

Abecedar:

Great collection of things that aren’t what I have. Loves them and appreciate the time your putting into them.

Malorndk:

It’s really nice! Once my kids are a little older, I might dig out my HeroQuests. The game is the perfect introduction to wargames.

Fuggit Khan:

Really amazing. Must be overwhelming having that much new stuff.

Slavemaster Hod
My thoughts exactly! It's like Christmas came early! :cheers

BABIS:

nice stuff!

This message was automatically appended because it was too short.

Bassman:

At the beginning I was not much fond of the tower but after you added all details and painting… well it’s amazing! I do not like the blue/red tiles, too much colors in my opinion. I’d rather go for duller colors, but it’s just a matter of taste.

Being an old grumpy dwarf I can only appreciate these old miniatures and stuff you have. Love it!

Bloodbeard:

Thank you for all the complements my fellow Dawi Zharr!

And I just won a box of old lead miniatures in an auction. Gonna sit around for some years, but there’s some cool stuff in there.

Gold glitter

Some quick pictures of gold glitter added to a few treasures. I really like the effect it gives, adds a lot to those treasure. So I’ll definately be using more of this on my treasure. Just a dot here and there.

I got a box of glitter from China for the cost of next to nothing.

Admiral:

Beware, adventurers. All isn’t gold that glitters… Neat progress, keep it up!

Abecedar:

Very nice. Thats a neat little trick with the glitter. Don’t think I’ve ever seen it before at all

Fuggit Khan:

The glitter is super cool…Shiny Chrome, wait, I meant Shiny Gold!

Bloodbeard:

Elven Ranger{/b]

Painted up my Heavy Elf Archer by Admiral. Lovely model. I’m always amazed at the amount of detail that pops out from his sculpts during painting.

I’ll be using this model as a Ranger in Frostgrave, perhaps have him explore some dungeons in Dungeon Saga.

I added the bowstring and arrow myself, otherwise is the sculpt as Admiral made it.

With this model I went for a wood elf look. Some different greens, browns and some autumn orange.

Abecedar:

Very nice. I mean horrible, pathetic elfses

Bloodbeard:

A couple of finished slave goblins from Admirals nice ‘War Booty of Ancient Times’.

The one carrying the wine amphora will be a Bloodweiser Babe in Blood Bowl. The goblin with the sacks will be a packmule for my Chaos Dwarf warband in Frostgrave.

Did these two models really quick. Nice little guys.

Xander:

Very cool stuff. More HeroQuest I see, awesome. I love both the Chaos Warriors and the Skeletons with scythes from that set.

Those goblins are pretty sweet too.

Bloodbeard:

Just finished some houses from Figurebitz (no website, only facebook). Very nice mdf kits and the first mdf kits I got myself. Super cheap as well. This is part of my Frostgrave collection.

Painting

I painted the elements with cheap spray paint before assembly. Primed the walls white, then grey. The timbered parts were sprayed black. Roofs are wolf grey by Army Painter (blueish) with a verdigris paint on each roof tile.

Snow is made from a mix of flock, sand, bakingsoda, glue and white acryllic paint.

Lastly I’ve covered the entire buildings in matt white spray paint from a distance of around 60cm (2ft) for a nice frosty looks. Binds all the Frostgrave terrain nicely together.

Small ruin

Only upgrade to the kit. I added a wooden floor. It’s just thin cardboard with texture painted in with a pencil, before basecoating it all.

Tudor House

This set is actually not meant to be a ruin. But I want my entire city in ruins. So I cut holes in each storey and painted it like burned areas. Besides looking cool it’ll also add some easy acces and better line of sight lines during gaming.

Also added wooden floors to this building.

The house is easy to take apart during gaming if entering the building.

Admiral:

Good progress with your Frostgrave cityscape! I especially like the Tudor house and what you did with it.

Carcearion:

Wow they look great!

tjub:

Looks good, have been looking to get into Frostgrave for a long while but never had the time… :frowning:

Ghrask Dragh:

Those look fantastic, love the way you can open them up to play inside, great job on the frosty/snowed under look
