I was wondering if there is any easy way to create Bull Centaurs using Grudge Ponies? Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial/walkthrough of the process? I looked though the conversions section of this site and saw an old tutorial, but the pictures were gone. Any help would be welcome!

Thanks guys. Its starting to look like I’m just going to have to trim the unwanted parts of the harness off of the Pony, then use the horse version of the model as a guide.

There are a couple of reasons I want to use the Grudge Pony instead of any of the verious horses. 1. I like the stockier body the Grudge Pony provides, and 2. I already have them, so I might as well use them.

The Snowman:

You could use plasicard to build armour over the top of the harness. Or you could add spikes and things to it to look more Chaosy.

I made 2 for my Blood Bowl team this way. I’ll try to get some pics up soon.

Here are a few pics of the undercoated minis, they may be a bit hard to see because of the black coat. Not likely to get paint for a while yet. They are a bit simple, The BCs for my army are a lot different though.

Best reasons ever! (not being sarcastic here) use the models you have is a great option. I shortened the legs of my centaurs, with the pony that's not necessary.

Check out Tjub’s tutorial, it’s very good. I think it’s in Word of Hashut 6.

I have some BC’s made from ponies in my painting log as well, the link is in my signature.

Its in issue #5. As a matter of fact, I think its the same tutorial I had seen a while back that got me thinking about using the Grudge Pony in the first place!

This is some great stuff guys, I'm enjoying all of it!

If I’m not mistaken several people have used the Grudge Pony as the basis for a BC conversion. Have a look around and I’m sure you’ll find some.
