Hi ppl, I em new to the forum and I em in love with chaos dwarfs :slight_smile:

I managet to sell my vampire and WoC armies so have a fund of 550GBP, 1000USD, 700euro more or less and now I am loocking to buy Chaos Dwarfs army mainly forge world models.

So if some one out there is willing to part with their beloved Chaos Dwarfs and pass them to a new overlord PM me with your offers

This could be me being silly, but why not order them from FW themselves. 550 GBP would easily get 3k List, maybe more. and an order over 250 GBP is free express delivery anywhere in the world.

you are not silly but I don't want to do that for two reasons
1. I hope to get a better deal for myself this way, possibly
2. I would rather give my money to someone that actually needs it rather than to FW who are over priced as it is

From my experience, it is not often people are wanting to part with FW stuff, especially a whole army. But I understand your reasoning here, and wish you all success in your searching.

As for FW being overpriced, I pointed out to a friend who was telling me that FW is far more over priced than GW. GW released a set of 4 finecast models for £45 (the hobbit: white council) and charge £30 for 10 plastic dwarf longbeards. As plastic is a cheaper material and GW use a cheaper casting technique, I think FW are more respectably priced than a GW fantasy army which nobody seems blinks an eyelid at buying.

I personally am a fan of buying direct from FW as the are too many fake casts out there of FW stuff now, and purchasing from them encourages the to expand the army.

This brings me to another thing, I am currently in debate with my self on what to buy chaos dwarfs or regular ones. Moust off my friends are telling me not to buy Chaos Dwarfs because you dont know how will the army coupe in the 9th edition and will they get a update. My problem is that I felt in love with them, the models, the fluf, but since I decided to make a huge investment I want them to be competitive.

Did 6th edition made Death Korps of Krieg unplayable(fw 40k army)? Why would be any difference with CD and new fantasy rules coming?

You play against a man,not against army,I saw people doing great with wood elves,but this is market so this isn’t a place to discuss that. Anyway, FW updated the army as new rules(edition)came out,how well it went for players playing them before and after that and how competetive are they now,equally or less then they were? I dont know,told you my opinion about that above,but FW ALWAYS release new errata for new editions.
