Ancient History:



Anybody ever used these to stand-in for hellcannons? They look kinda sweet. How big is it, anyone know?

It looks as though it’s been made from Siege! cannons, like Mr. Xander’s Siegeshakers. I’ve never seen it before though. Sorry to be of no help whatsoever, but just want to check if you’re sure it’s been/is in production.

Is a nice piece. You could convert those Khorne skull-runes to Runes of Hashut fairly easily, I imagine.

Yes indeedy, this is a very rare Cannon of Khorne from Armorcast. Many many times I've wished and tried to get one of these babies for the exact purpose of making a, massive, earthshaker (or getting a cast of it, and making multiples! but no one heard that from me :~ )

If you go looking for this on ebay, beware, there's a much, much, much smaller version that looks exactly like the larger version (often mislabeled as "Epic!"). That ones about to a dwarf's chest, though looks a bit like a deck cannon with the size. The smaller version is also a lot easier to find.

I actually believe it to be from the Warmaster (Though I cant be sure), which is why I consider it mislabeled

I doubt it is from Warmaster. Warmaster is much newer than Chaos having cannons and CDs actually being a legit army.
It is most likely an actual Epic model and not mislabelled at all!
Many of the Armourcast models are actually upscaled Epic vehicles.

For those wondering, some more pics. It was made by armorcast (tim and Mike from N California) a long time ago. It was basically a 40k scale version of the same Epic mini. Mike Baisi scultped them, and tim sold them as armor cast. I did demos for them at GenCn a long time ago…it was nice, got paid in Titans for the help! And it was for use with 40k…the ones on ebay marked Epic are the original ones for the epic game that GW made. (it is 6mm not 28mm)

I have one around somewhere (probably in my storage unit), but I did find some other pics and a box. The ast one was done for a guys 40k army Khorne of course, because he thought the mini was too bland as it was (which I agree now, but it was so cool to play with the big toys in the 90s)
