Stiglitz:
I’ve been busy and finished the hobgoblin conversions.

I have a total of 55 Hobgoblins, including two command units and a unit filler. So I can field two units of 25 and 30 or one big unit of 53. 47, if unit fillers are not allowed.
The Besieger:
Super unit
Only 55 hobgoblins to paint now :cheers
Yodrin:
Very nice, LF to seeing those painted!
Stiglitz:
I finished some crew for the earthshaker.
Chaos dwarf crewmen:

Master crewman (as engineer in a vanilla dwarf army, for example), he can either stand on his base…

or on the cannon (he is magnetized)

Soon, there will be more (hobgoblins and a ogre loader)
Stiglitz:
Some Hobgoblin warmachine crew

this guy, carrying a cannonball is meant as a comical approach… but I guess, it is still over the top?

and the Ogre loader - I must commit, I’m proud of it.

and a picture of the warmachine and its crew
Soulassassin:
Like it a lot! the massive grey beards make them look really old and archaic. The daemon-smith with the fireball is well executed, I was thinking of doing something like that myself
Da Crusha:
very cool stuff here. the crew and ogre crew look great! Im also loving your infernal guard conversions.
Stiglitz:
Thanks for all the kind replies.
I fear, I will take a break from my Chaos Dwarf army and take a shot at another project.

But I think (and hope!) I will come back here for my evil dwarfs sooner or later.
I guess, I will post my squat pics in the off-topic-Showcase…
Kera foehunter:
I love the earth shaker crew < slaves>
Karring:
That crew-slaves are amazing, haha. Not only well made but also agreed with the machine-I meant, they make a sort of diorama, which is really nice.
Good work
Stiglitz:
Thanks for the kind replies again.:hat off
@Kera: Thanks for the slaves, you are the best!
DAGabriel:
Really like your sculpting efforts but what about a lick of paint on all that goodness before you continue with…squats?
Stiglitz:
Sure, painting the converted minis first, would be a better finish before starting -yes- squats.
But I tend to paint many models at once and it would be quite an effort to paint the hobgobs and the warmachine + crew.
And in the moment time is a bit rare and while it is ok for me to convert a single mini now and then I don’t think it would be fun to take a brush stroke now and then…
Ok, sounds like an apology, even to me… but I have a lot to do in the moment and hobby should be a bit of fun and recreation in my free time. And that will be more sculpting and thinking about a new project than painting.
Nevertheless, I hope to return to this project and to give the minis the paint, they deserve (or at least the mediocre paint job, I can give to them)…
