Hi, everyone. Now, I had an idea for a Chaos Dwarf Daemonsmith. I was thinking of getting the Engineer from the Dwarf Organ gun set, and giving him some Warriors of Chaos bits. I would then paint him in Chaos Dwarf colors. Would this work, and do you think people would allow me to use him as a Chaos Dwarf Daemonsmith? In my opinion, his mask looks like a good Chaos Dwarf �?oSmith�?� mask.

Thanks for the quick response. What are Daemonsmiths good against? Also, maybe I could convert the Organ gun to a Death Shrieker…

I use mine to stabilise my artillery. Being able to reroll a dice either to avoid a misfire or to get a hit is really useful, especially with the dreadquake (for whom à daemonsmith is nearly mandatory).
And I see no problem with your idea, btw. One of my daemonsmith is a rune priest fro our hated brethren…

Macbeth has it right. They are best used to hang around the war machines and provide some re-rolls. Being level 1’s they can also carry a dispel scroll and shoot off the odd fireball. They are useful, but not mandatory. In larger games I find they work better as I tend to take more war machines.
