A hobbit after my own heart.
You can look at the menu, but you need to eat at home.

Sorry if I wasnt clear , I was referring to pages 124-149 of my Warhammer Armies book covering the allies. Also for the chaos dwarfs 3rd ed. army there was the ability to create one if you wanted to.In my 'Realms of Chaos-Slaves of Darkness' book there are chaos dwarfs as part of the selection available to armies of Khorne which is when I started collecting chaos dwarfs for my chaos Khorne army. Both books being 3rd edition rules for Warhammer Fantasy Battle. Also there was a "Warhammer Armies" book that had all the army allies list in one book.I think you've got that 'Warhammer Armies' book with the allies list confused as for editions. Back in the early days of 3rd ed the very first army book was published - "Ravening Hordes" (some things never change) - it had the stats and army compositions for most of the armies we know today. Back then there were two ways to get forces from other armies into your list - Allies (which were listed in the army list and had a limited selection of available troops), and Mercenaries.
This was a great idea it added a lot of fun to the game for veteran players and it generated interest in other armies for players.

There was no such thing as a CD army in 3rd ed. CDs were an available troop type in a Chaos Army, but with the army comp rules, they would not be the only type of troops in your army.
