why don’t the CD try to expand there empire through the use of naval power anyway? I’m sure they could some how rip off DE black arks and create mega mechanialcl sorcerous powered ships that would be able to act as CD garrisions to help strengthen there grip on the world. I’m being serious. Why not? And it would be a way to reintroduce the CD to the rest of races of the world if Chaos Dwarfs were to be introduced mainstream with book and all to warhammer. Because fluff wise atm there no real easy to think of situaition(excuse spelling) of a chaos dwraf army to go out and attack LM. Then again they proably already have them and this is a silly idea…

That is a universal problem really. Not just for us. I cant see why Khemri would go to Lustria for example. Nice idea though to make the Dawi’zharr a naval power. Could be cool.

First off; welcome!
Reason: as stated in the fluff in several spots. The city of Zharr-Naggrund is the only city the CDs require, They also have almost every resource they need within the boundaries of the Dark Lands. Thus the fluff states they are not interested in expanding their Empire. They only raid for slaves.

I thought they were in Plaguefleets? It’d be good to get hold of some of the old Man o’ War fluff. I’m trying to design a fleet based game using some small ship models I’ve found to add naval strategy to our club’s campaign but so far I have what little I can remember from a few flick throughs of the main book and looking at the old pics of ships

Could be AGPO. I’m at work so I can’t double check, IIRC though they were at least alluded to in WD #164. Might be Plaugefleets.

I looked up 164 of White Dwarf and on of it’s articles is about Plague Fleets, it says it details with the fluff of Chaos, Chaos Dwarfs and Skaven, so I guess that answers your question.
