heres a little alternative:

so you could use the kraken in a man’o’war game, think the scale must be almost the same
Grimstonefire:
I spoke to John Blanche today in an attempt to try and understand the captain’s sketch a bit more.
He has a metal beard, after the metal tentacles of the Kraken. He’s breathing something that means he exhales steam.
Everything else was intentionally done with no logic. He did say that when he thinks of chaos he sees the blending of metal and skin as a real grey area. I find this quite interesting really, certainly opens up ideas I hadn’t considered before.
Edit.
A few pictures of things you all may find interesting. He was certainly going for the whole mechanical piranha thing wasn’t he!
Vogon:
Having read the fluff for the kraken the captain is the only crew member and is effectively immortal he and the ship are daemonically possessed. he was a dwarf engineer from before the dwarf/chaos dwarf split who was exiled after trying to kill his rival shipwright with what sounded like a rivet gun. So from my reading he is not a “Chaos Dwarf” but a “Chaos” Dwarf if you take my meaning.
Cheers
