how would you point up a howdah and barding for a chaos mammoth that would hold 5 CDs

I am at a loss on how to do this.

I’d just use it as it appears in Tamurkhan but swap the Marauders for Chaos Dwarfs. The difference in point cost between the different crews is so small compared to the overall cost of the unit that it makes no difference. Barding - for +1 armour save - should cost at least 25 points on a monster that large.

For what it’s worth, those rules aren’t that good anyway. Counting the howdah as a building is really clunky. It ought to work like the Archnarok Spider.
