Hey all,

I’ve got a game coming up against the new Dark Elves. I’ve never played them, but I’ve heard the rumours of just how nasty they can be. So that said, I need some help. What are some tactics you’ve seen/used successfully against these guys?

I will definitely be bringing the Chalice. I’ll try to be gentlemanly about it, but I know that Power of Darkness and the Sacrificial Dagger really make Dark Elves stupid dangerous in the magic phase.

The dagger doesn’t add that much to be honest! The typical list these days has a big block of Witch Elves and/or Executioners, two units of Warlocks, and some bolt throwers. If your opponent has any wits at all, he’ll know Chaos Dwarfs excel at wiping out blocks of troops so he’ll bring a fast army. Expect him to charge across the board as fast as he can to not get shot.
