I still have to put together the last two versions of daemonettes I have. Course, the ones from two versions ago are pretty much just stick onto the slotta base. I do like the new models though. They look great. I’d pick some up if I was looking to expand a Demon army for sure.
Btw, how does that work with the new demon book? Anyone looked at it yet? Do they separate by gods like the last couple versions or did it sort of revert to the old-school army where you could have all the demons from all the gods?

In the new book, you should use all the gods to make an army list that is effective, but you don’t have to. It’s the same as 6th with some more units. You can mix and match from gods, but don’t have to for a legal list.

Yeah, I bought some new Daemonettes. The models are very nice in terms of casting and assembly. There is virtually no flash/mould lines to clean up and the models go together very well. There are a lot of ways you can build them with the varying options for heads and claws. There are 2 types standards for the unit, one more of an icon and the other more of a banner.
I feel they retain the feel of slaanesh, but aren’t quite as sexy as the old ones. They are very much a blowback to the Realm of Chaos daemonettes; they have one female breast, which is covered by their corset/bustier top. They are tasteful but still get across the deviancy of the Slaanesh theme.
If you have any other questions, just ask.

I think they’d have a better feel if their claws were smaller and longer; more like spikes.

if i get them they make cool mermaids.hm, but they just have one female brest, the last ones make better mermaids, they alle have a pair of beautiful tits (one has 2 and even 3 pairs! :)) and with theire tentacles on the head they look much more... fishlike :hat off

Xander bought some… I think they are VERY nice actually. they look great and, much like GRNDL said, are very clean.
I really like the outfits too, they’d be fun to paint… and not difficult to change into mermaid clothing I’d imagine

i think the last one’s were more slannesh like as they were better looking(i just said a model was good looking :o) and i could see men being lured to then but the new one i can’t but still the men of the old world are strange

I’d like to see that centigor conversion! Kera, the mermaid conversion would work very wellwith the unit champion’s head (the one whose hair is flowing around her head) because it’d look like she was underwater I think, as far as models go, they are just as “sexy” as the previous ones. As in, the last ones to me weren’t exactly alluring anyway Not some perversion or fetish, I can asure you all…

I just looked at the models a little closer. Those will make some wicked looking mermaids. Not the nice alluring kind, but the kind that drag sailors to the bottom of the sea and eat them. So I like the idea a lot! Definitely looking forward to seeing that Kera. And like Hashut’s Blessing said, that champion would look great with the hair flowing like that.
You guys are all so creative. I’m lucky if I even paint things well. Good to be around so many creative minds.

You can always add GS for that extra breast. 
Or GS for tentacle hair. But now that they are plastic, and available ten at a time, it’s a smaller investment if you want to get them.
