Yodrin:
If the Destroyer is in combat with someone with poison attacks, do they have to reroll the 6 since it’s reroll to wound?

Twisted Dwarf:
No, poison automatically wounds by passing the reroll since the poison roll comes on the to hit roll.
Geist:
More to the point, they never roll to wound, as a 6 to hit with poison is an auto wound regardless of the St/Toughness.
Any score of less than a 6 to hit would still need to roll to wound as normal though (so those wounds would have to be rerolled).
Yodrin:
I would say that’s the correct way to play it, I have played it that way also.
But it is possible to bend that rule, or isn’t it? ;)
Yes it’s an auto wound, but, any wound caused by a non magic weapon needs to be rerolled, and poison is not a magical wound.
Grimbold Blackhammer:
Poison bypasses the re-roll to wound requirement as no “to wound” roll is made. I commend you on trying to think outside-the-box though!
Billy Ocean:
I’d worry about poisoned shooting more than close combat. At least you have some control over who you end up in combat with. But skink blowpipes… the downfall of many a great K’daai.
Geist:
Local lizard player when he first came into the circuit played against me with something like 120 skinks. I managed to survive some how, of course that didn’t happen both games. Good news for me he has switched up his list and so have I.
Bloodbeard:
Sure. Let’s the player “re-roll” all the automatic wounds. … they’ll properly still turn up as automatic.
Skinks and Khalida archers really are nasty against our destroyer.
