Update on the surgery front for those interested: just come back from pre-admission and now have to wait for a date for the actual surgery which will probably be after Christmas :mad. Surgeon didn’t go into exact details but what he said was it’ll be metal rods screwed into the spine and pelvis extending all the way from the pelvis to halfway through the chest.:o

Metal rods screwed into the spine? That sounds… hardcore. My cat have a lot of rods and screws in her left foreleg from falling over a balcony the first thing she did as a kitten after arriving to our place (she must have rolled a 6 on her K’daai toughness test). If the Cat’daai Destroyer is any clue at all, then the surgery might work well.

Not at all. She has more of a dog- or even bear-like behaviour most of the time, and is really clumsy for a cat. Her sister (my brother's cat) is much more quick, elegant and agile. Unlike my cat, she hardly topples any models when walking around our Warhammer table. ;)
