Though there is a striking similarity… I say the artist went forward in time and stole my idea!
I do hope the display board looks hellish enough… basically two roads plowed through hell… (before I add the monument and such).

I think you’ve got the colours down, but from the angle and scale of the board, its hard to tell how textured it. It looks rather flat overall, so some relief in areas where you know you’re not going to be placing figures might help, if it is really flat, I mean.

Damn, I was originally thinking of doing my eventual Tyranid army as the Bugs from Starship Troopers, but the Shadows would be cool too.
