I have been wondering how to use Dogs of War in a CD army…
- In my opinion, I just use those rules the Mortal/beastmen can use.
- But how are you using the Dogs of War Special Rule???

DoW units state which armies can use them…

I have 4 Ogres I use, they are Chaos Ogre models. All painted and ready to go; cant wait to see how they preform.

Of course running BCs as count as heavy cavalry ain’t a bad idea either… Just thought of that, hmmm.

i use lead belchers in my chaos dwarfs to add more guns, they work fantasticly well in cd’s

Think about it thou. Use BCs as count as DoW HC and they suddenly become much more compelling of a choice…

BCs… 21 points.
So same M, better Save, lance bonus… Yeah I think BCs as “Count as” will work…
Negatives: Lower Strength and Toughness, 1 less attack, point less in LD.

well the horse does make a attack… its lame but its an attack…
Cav is M7 due to barding…

Simply count the Hose’s attack as a trample kinda like centigors get. Likewise if anyone were to use ogre rules to represent Boar Centaurs you could do the same for the gut charge

Considering if you have to use your CDs as a count as dwarf list… The only way to use them is as such.
