Hi, just wondering if anyone had checked out the Dwarf Steam Golem figure, Iron Wind Metals have on offer, wondering if it would fit in the updated rules somewhere ? (it’s in the monsters and encounters section of their website), thanks heaps: hat off

Not a great miniature, could be a basis for a good conversion?

Too dynamic; in my mind a steam golem should be more like a walking tank, much like the Warmachine minis.

put a throne on the top and sit a sorcerer on it! a little bit bending of the legs will get it in a more normal pose.

Not a fan tbh. Would have made a good collosus with a few tweaks in the pose and sculpting

Personally I prefer this one: I’ve got a few of those, but a number of the Mage Knight Golems have made it into my Warhammer-alternative Chaos Dwarf army.

I’ve always thought Ork 40k Killa Kans would be a good basis for a Kollossus conversion (or is that Kollossus Konversion?)

The last ones are pretty sweet. I’m about to start converting some (Chaos :hat off) Dwarf ‘Golems’ myself, you see

silashand :o:o These models are ingenious :o:o
The only flaw is the hands of pilots, they seem a little 'fake.
Unit made by these golems would be great
