Merchant:
I hope, this conversion will be a Success
I got the idea last night, when my fiancée & I were trying to recruit some PC for our Silent Hill RPG. However what I’ll like to do with this conversion is.
1). Make a copy of the Hellcannon crewman’s mask & beard.
2). cut off all from the Thane’s front.
3). Hopefully then after make a more or less new CD Lord, no one ever have been trying to do… well I hope

What do you think of it?
When he is done, I’ll upload him along with the rest of my figures in my thread at the "Conversion"
Cheers Merchant :cheers
Xander:
To be honest, that Thane model isn’t very special, but if it is all you have, then it sounds like it is worth a shot!
Otherwise, use a plastic dwarf torso with the Hellcannon parts.

I know - I know - he isn't special at all, but he have been cut to be use for something (which went wrong) so now I'll try my idea on him.
If I succeed, I'll try it again on a new model :)
Obsidian:
It can be done but it sounds like a lot of work and it will be difficult to get it to fit I believe…
Might be easier to sculpt on the same idea rather than to fit the two together. But keep us up to date, really interesting to find out if it works!
AGPO:
I’ve cast the front of this guy before and its come out quite well. To be honest, if you can do scale mail you’re better off sticking the cast to an armature and adding arms and sculpting him a new body. The back isn’t hard to do

- I'm making a green stuff version of his front.
And I have now leaned that I'll have to use another body, but it will also work - I'm sure of it, well I think :)

- I hope that with the new body I have chosen, it will be easier then what I has doing before.
But it seems to work out well.
I'll keep update with my work on me Lord :hat off
Cheers mates :cheers

i think thats a sweet idea!!! i might have to steal that idea
minty:
thats a very nice idea you have there, it should look great when finished
though getting the head of the heckcannon crew will be dificult
Hashut’s Blessing:
I was going to say, if you can still do it. Then, if you’re pleased, do it on another model. The BfSP model could then be a unit champion or just an ordinary warrior or a hero or something instead then.
