Well because of the Black Orc Rebellion and my use of the RH list, I am converting and making my own stand in unit of Black Orcs, which when finished you could use for pictures if the topic comes up
Shouldn’t the title have ‘cannon’ - as in two n’s, not 'canon’ An earth shaker canon - could be a Catholic based Earth shaker - and that sounds scary!! ;D
“Canon” in this sense refers a group of works which are authoritative for a given field. A “cannon” is an artillery piece. “Earthshaking Canon” is a deliberate play on words. The intent of the article is to describe the publishing history and facts behind different aspects of the Chaos Dwarfs - the “canon,” so to speak.
So no, the title should not be Earthshaking Cannon. That would make no sense.
Submitted Black Orc Rebellion article; added another possible article topic: The Strange History of Karak Ungor. See, I had some extra material on Grimgor Ironhide and the material in this thread…granted Karak Ungor is a footnote in the larger Warhammer universe, but it’s kind of neat and strange at the same time, to me.
Possible Future Topics:
Empire of Ruin (Geography, from Uzkulak to the Scalded Delta)
Armory of Chaos (Canonical Chaos Dwarf-crafted magical items)
The Strange History of Karak Ungor
Chaos Dwarf Languages (Khazalid, Harghazhakh, Grumbarth, Daemonic, etc.)
I’ve got oodles of potential topics, but just as a sound out, would anyone be interested in an Author Spotlight on people like Phil Kelly, Gav Thorpe, and C.L. Werner?
I may, with the Word of Hashut currently on indefinite hiatus, just publish an intermittent Earthshaking Canon article as a series of threads as I get time. How does that strike people?
What other Chaos Dwarf cities? Earthshaking Canon is about what’s been revealed in official sources - since there’s nothing official about anything like that, it wouldn’t be much of an article.
