I saw this guys some days ago in my lokal store and thought they would work great as fireborn! I didnt know how big they are so i bought only one box for the moment.
At home i build one of this guys provisionally. Maybe they are a bit small but i think they will do a great job as fireborn.
enclosed i have a pic for you guys with two of my chaos dwarfs. Maybe it help someone with his decision.

I’m not a fan of the mantic ones. Like a lot of their stuff its an interesting concept but poorly executed. I think when TitanForge finish the metalbeards stuff, their Chosen of Kashan Vra are gonna become the gold standard for alt Fireborn.

Thw fireborn model is a kice model. But it’s not a fireborn. Way to small. They need to be ogre sized i think. In height and wideness.
These ghosts vanishes on that big 40mm base.

With a bit of build up on the spiral at the base I think they’d fit my idea for Fireborn. To me they should look small on that base, considering they are only T4 with 2 Wounds. Just a wee bit of extra height and these would be golden.

In my humble opinion Firborns statline doesn’t do the concept justice. They are pretty expensive point wise - but their abilities make them rather hard to kill. But the go puff if used wrong or unlucky.
I think they should be big, blazing body and stomp being able to kill alot.
But then again - every dawi zharr has a different idea of how the k’daii looks.
