Whats the view as to whether Flames of Azgorh is affected by the Orgre Rune MaW Banner?

I know that the BRB FAQ talks about ranged direct damage spells that use a template having to target a unit, which rules out pit of shades.

As FoA is anywhere on the table does this fall into the same category or is it more like the Comet?

its Direct damage still though. so targets a unit. The centre point must be over an enemy model.
