Hi guys, I know have been posted before but couldn’t find a pic of infernal guard and few bullcentaurs to compare the size, fell in love with the BC models, but, even if I think they will be too big I need proof to justify the bought :wink:
Can anyone post a pic ?

Thank you for the reply, I did ofc, but none that shows a FW bull centaur close to an Infernal guard unfortunately...:/

I do not yet have my bull centaurs assembled, when I do I can take a pic. Hopefully someone else can post one before then, though.

On forgeworld website, the 17th pic is a bull centaur pursuing this poor guy. A chaos dwarf ig is about as high as the shoulder of mr. runningman. So let say a bull centaur is at least thrice as high as an ig.

Drazagoth: Even if they did marry up well, the disproportionally small size of the Chaos Dwarf compared to a Great Taurus will probably look a bit weird - it may not, but I’d suggest STRONGLY considering it before starting the cuts. also, hold them up to each other and compare a LOT before you do it. Lastly, the Dwarf proportions won’t match the FW Renders for scale (which is obviously fine, but something to be noted if you plan to have both).

Using one of Pyro Stick’s models (quick Google search), you can already get an idea of how it’ll look:

EDIT: Looking again, the sizing may not actually be too much of an issue and it could well match up easily - but I’d still recommend doing a lot of testing BEFORE cutting models up and be prepared to make some armour around the neck/torso joint.

Thank you HB confronting its an operation I have to before I buy so I would not waste money

That’s why I was asking for pics from who already have.

My first choice are FW BC ofc but I fear they are too big to fit test of the team 30 mm round bases, that would be a probk really, but if BC are too bing I don’t want the to look likeBig guy cause I guess they will not fit in with the rest.

Still need a lot of research. :wink:

The classic Htark the unstoppable is still available from GW. Quite pricey though.

Even Hthark is a little bit big IMO, although usable. If you can get the bull parts and attach a FW CD model to the front, or if you know a dwarf player you could get some of the ponies:

On a side not, doesn any1 know who painted those models, its not done by that company.

I have previously done photos comparing original BC’s to other cavalry mounts.

I am just not smart enough to add them to wiki etc.

If they would help add to a comparison data base I’ll be glad to send them in.

If you plan to do it for BB, then the Great Taurus is far too large. Get a hold of Hthark the Unstoppable or some olde BCs, is my suggestion.
