In fairness 40k does have allot older armies than fantasy and they are just trying to keep every thing level, very interested that they are redoing some Legion of the damned i have a few boxes of the old metal ones kicking around at home that a mate gave me so i will look forward to seeing how these new models look

Legion of the Damned aren’t a full army, just allied contingents. I think its pretty lame really. Really tired of constant space marine stuff. Some random releases for other armies would be welcome.
ugh… being that when you consider the 40k universe that if you were to number the different chapters of marines you would have more chapters than tau fire warriors in a Battle Cadre. you start to see why they are more commonly released. They also are by far and away the most played army in 40k… and not because they get the most often updates… its just because EVERYONE has one. I mean EVERY 40k player in my area has a SM army though they tend to play their other armies more often.
This is true for my area i my self have 4 space marine chapters, ultramarines my very first army which will never see the battle field until they have been repainted, red scorpions, Death wing army and now a space wolf one and blood angles will be getting a small strike force as i have to find a use for the space hulk terminators that and i am getting a load of random marines off a mate, but the legion of the dammed where always a very cool unit to have in a space marine army as they just looked awesome and I cant wait to get my hands on these guys as well as long as they are not to much money that is

Having had a entire Legion of the Damned army stolen from the boot of my car leaving me a nice handy brick as a replacement alas I remember my last space marrine army.
I never collected another imperial gamesworkshop army again space marrine based or otherwise… But to be honnest that last space marrine didnt look to different from a normal space marrine with chaos style shoulders and a flame from the flagelant plastic set.
That said my old army was the bomb having all the bone and flame decorations painted on. I wish I could get that army back I miss it so much sometimes and it used ot scare the sheer hell out of anyone facing it. Those were the days … 80 grechin in a box with 20 goff orcs and wo space marrines …
Oh yeah do games workshop seam to just drop the ball with reguard the necron and Dark eldar race truth be told I loved the mark 1 necon warrior the secodn plastic one wasnt so hot but I hope they dont change the mark too much it still looks pretty awesome on the games table but what we really want is SQUATS ill go back to sleep now …
