The Odor:
How big is the pyshical diffrence between Goblins and Hobgoblins? I have see some awesome conversions with stormvermin and Gnoblar heads but that means carving of fur and picking up bows… Which are extra expenses and work a Forgeworld army can do without… So would it be possible to use Gnoblar heads and Goblin bodies without having purist throw a tantrum? Or maybe GS worked goblins only?

Da Crusha:
hobgoblins are supposed to be as tall as orcs but much thinner. personally I just went with gnoblars for the job. I picked them before finding out about the height difference.
MLP:
Yeah the old Hobgoblin models were about the same size of Orcs at the time but like Da Crusha said they’re a bit thinner. Wirey i’d call them. But you can use normal goblins, night goblins, gnoblars, skaven conversions if you want, no-one will mind! I just use the Standard plastic goblins with bows at the moment because they were cheap and do the job.
Thommy H:
Hobgoblins are about the same height and build as humans. They’re a bit stooped and have humped backs. Goblins work fine though, mostly.
The Stormvermin conversions don’t require any fur scraping - all you need to do is snip off the tails and give them a Goblin or Gnoblar head. If you buy the Goblin regiment, you can use their bow arms too.
Shimsham:
I have looked on ebay for gnoblar heads. Where do you guys find them all?
The Odor:
Since my hobgoblins will be a Small group who are insanely dedicated to Hashut, I think I will use the Nightgoblins and Greenstuff on some hunchbacks and replace the Moons and Mushrooms with Bullheads and Fire!
SafetyTurtle:
Hmm gotta admit, looking at the pic of the hobgoblin wolfrider in the FW book, they seem about the same as normal gobbos.

I bought all of mine from hoard o bits on ebay. Im not sure if he is still on there though. I know that he started his own bits website, it might be worth looking into.
Discoking:
I got my Hobbo bits from Hoard o Bitz.
I guess the best bits to use are:
Plague Monk / Stormvermin / Clanrat Bodies;
Ungor / Goblin Bow Arms;
Goblin Wolf Rider / Night GoblinHeads.
I can’t find Gnoblar heads anywhere…
Although I think Wolf Rider heads are the best, they look more Mongolian.
Mine came to about £25 for 40 models.
Ugly Green Trog:
I make mine using the goblin regiment, I cut their feet off and use brass rod and green stuff to lengthen their boots and then pin their waist leaving a couple of mm as a gap then green stuff a belt in. Its a little time consuming but you just need to use the 1 kit to do it and boot tops and waist sashes are easy to sculpt.
