hahaha, I haven’t done ANYTHING since I conceptualized mine and let the GS harden. lol
I should get going on that, since Xander is leaving me in 1 week and moving 4 hours away… potentially forever!!! then it’ll be only Vex and myself.
I’ll make sure I get it in… hopefully. provided I don’t get this Webzine last minute to edit ahem right before GH VI deadline
Willmark:
Heh. Don’t look at me! Look at Xander and Cianty. They are the ones holding this thing up!
I’m in the same boat, I have my idea all sketched out but I’m trying to get through several units first to clear some space on my desk.
Hashut’s Blessing:
I still haven’t bought the model, let alone received it
If you’ve had the ideas, Obsisdian, you have enough to enter the Artisan’s Contest. Merely describe them…
al-hashut:
Mine’s a mound of pieces at the moment. Just pulled an allnighter for an annoyingly difficult exam so as soon as my bodyclock resets then i should be able to make a start…before starting to revise for another one on tuesday
I used getting back into warhammer to quit smoking, so i’m practically getting the wargamer shakes after going “cold turkey” for over a week. CDO’s my nicotine patch
furrie:
Need to wait till the weather is bit better to spray my model, the GS stuff is finished
Kera foehunter:
You can always paint it in the bathroom with the fan on furrie!
Hashut’s Blessing:
Undercoat it by hand
Vexxus:
Undercoat it by hand :DCompletely prefer this method now, I don't think I could go back.. especially not for important models... MAYBE rank and file...

furrie:
Undercoat it by hand :DI could do that, but I prefer spraying the models

Well, MY entry is finished! After much clumsyness and rooting around on the floor for broken off parts, i’m scared to touch it now incase i drop it again, let alone start paint!
This has inspired me to start a Chaos Dwarf Morheim band…anyone got a link the the list?
Sojourn:
I may not be finished, but I did my GS sculpting last night and for my first attempt ever at GS I’m VERY happy with my results. Even Xander said it looks good
there’s only about 1 month left, right? =S
Obsidian:
For most there is, I got two weeks and have run out of GS and can’t find my undercoat! But I’m not panicking! Uhm, much…
Guess I’ll have to speedpaint it next week!
furrie:
I undercoated my model (did by hand), just need to wait till thats its dry and will begin painting tommorow

Though I can hardly call myself a member of this community, having watched from the shadows for the past year or so, I intend to enter my own humble contribution in the form of my first complete sculpt. So far the head is nearly done, just waiting for it to dry to add the last touches. Chances are I’ll never get it done in time, and I’ll have to start playing Mordheim to warrant the effort. Can’t wait to see the entrants, the quality of work on this forum seems to be uniformly excellent.
Sojourn:
don’t worry Mathias! it’ll be great for you to just enter
work hard, and do what you can. that’s what I’m trying to do…
Willmark:
Matthias-
"The journey is the reward.
GRNDL:
Meh, its not happening for me.
This comp is too hot on the heels of the last one and badly timed for the crunchtime on the project of my real-life job, so time is crunched for modelling.
