I’ve had major problems getting my base model delivered…  I should have just paid full retail prices. :frowning:

So I haven’t started yet.  But I do have a base the right size and a load of greenstuff waiting.

2 extra weeks would give me about a 75% chance of getting it done in time. I’d feel bad asking for any more than that.

Okay, I’ll split the difference here and add 3 weeks to the deadline making the final deadline May 21st. I’ll update the first post.

Well, I asked halfway through the contest purposely since we still have over 2 weeks until the original deadline. This gives extra time to all people in a more fair way than if I were to just add 3 weeks right on the due date.

Chances are that if your entry is already completed 2 weeks before the original deadline you weren’t using the full allotment of time to your advantage! :stuck_out_tongue: I am sure there is plenty of extra bits and bobs you could add to your entry, Herby! Unless you have made the perfect entry already! If so, you have nothing to fear by an extension. :wink:

Great. Gives me a fighting chance of getting this done.

My model finally arrived yesterday and I’ve been working quite quickly with the greenstuff actually. I’ve realised how I will paint it will probably end up being a lot more time consuming that I first thought… But if it’s worth doing at all it’s worth doing well (even if I miss the deadline).

I’m thinking as well I’m going to base this in a much more interesting way to the way my army is done. Completely differently actually. I can always create another base later to match it in.
