Still lots of converting to do. Happy this theme has pushed me to make a lot of progress even if I don't finish on time. It'll be great to see what a variety of entries this pulls in. Really hoping to be a part of that. :yar
finished converting and assembling mine only to realize I was out of primer, minor setback but I am doing well. Should be done on time. Excited to see what everyone else is gonna do.
Thank you for your recent letter. With reference to your query about the progress of project ?oWarrior?, I regret to inform you there has been some slippage in the proposed time scale. This has clearly raised some serious questions for the project manager, Igor Igorson. I have of course put Igor to these questions. This was a full and frank discussion and I feel the answers are probably best expressed in his own words:
?oNo.No. Please No.
The forge broke down
We could?Tnt get the parts.
There was a fire.
An earthquake.
A plague of Locusts.
A terrible flood.
I swear to Hashut it wasn?Tt my fault!
Please put that down!?
Igor?Ts response have led me to carry out a root and branch review of our production systems. The reccomemdations of this review have been fully implemented. Therefore from today I willl be taken a personal role in the oversight of the project. The previous management team has been dismembered and replaced. I have installed a new and enthusiastic project manager, Igor Igorspawn (no relation).
These changes are fully expected to result in the project meeting our new demanding deadlines.
I hope this answers any queries or concerns you may have had.

Uther the Unhinged
Sorceror Prophet of Hashut (all tremble at his name)
May I suggest you include this mighty fine letter in your project log after the contest is over and you share your entry? It deserves some spread. :hat off
Still going but having a small hiatus whilst on holidays and I wasn't allowed to bring any hobby stuff.
Abecedar
Been there. Not much of a holiday then, is it? ;)

Probably your wife was just afraid you would hurt yourself again :cheers.
TheHoodedMan
Wasn't too bad. Had some beers with a best mate, walked around for hours in beach-side bush picking up other peoples rubbish for our annual "Clean up australia day", had some nice meals out (and one shit one), got my compound bow adjusted to fit me better.
If my wife was scared of me hurting myself - it wouldn't be the hobby. its about the safest thing I do.
@Abecedar Not so fast in claiming that coveted last place Sir! Igor informs me that the warriors have been recruited and training is complete. They are now fully equipped as per my detailed instructions and await only my artistic input as regards final ornamentation and regalia (sadly Igors though essential do lack any artistic flair).
