After flipping through the channels the other day, I found myself watching one of those obscure channels that was showing Hellboy 2 and I got the idea that if any race in the old world would have an army of automatons it would be all of our favorite evil stunties.  This is my first really big project with conversions and green stuff and was wondering what you guys thought about it.  

The model itself is a BfSP miner using a space marine shoulder pad for the helmet/mask, plasticard eyes/goggles, a grave guard great weapon blade, a Scibor moscal shield, and green stuff for the scalemail and beard.  It is going to be painted bronze/gold and I am going to probably use the platicard tile basing method (I know it is going to take forever but I like that really clean look it gives off) that was really big at my game store when I started playing 4 years ago.  I am not really sure if I like traditional chaos dwarf beard on these guys so I may just green stuff a regular dwarf beard in where it is needed.  C and C most welcome:cheers!

Also before I go, Major thanks go to Xander and Snotling for giving me the inspiration for using shoulder pads from other models and a way to create the “google” eyes.  :hat off

But in a "I'm going to cut off your face and use it as a decoration, then get all proud of myself and beam happily about it" kind of way. Love it.

Thanks guys for the reply! I am going to try using some chaos space marine shoulder pads and see how that works. I will get some pics of them painted as soon as I get some time (I am starting law school at the end of this week)!
