What do people think?
(Waits for a ‘no’ vote from Thommy H) :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

cornixt:

Apart from the silly base and the shoulder pads, I like it.

Swissdictator:

Cornixt: While I agree on the base, I will say there is a nice convenience factor in that I wouldn’t have to worry about it “poking” other troops. Though it could have been a bit less tall and been just as effective.

However I do not like the wings at all. Makes it seem more fragile. I rather like the wings on the current Taurus. Otherwise not bad at all, rather decent actually, if I didn’t already have two Great Tauruses, I’d consider it certainly.

Thommy H:

How would that ever fly?

Kered:

Rather nice overall but the wings look like they’ve just been stuck on the body with no proper connection.

warh:

like Thommy H said the wings are way to small, I’m also a bit disappointed on lord not having a helm/hat:(

but it don’t look that speed sculpted that Scibor usually do.

Grimstonefire:

Overall it just doesn’t feel evil to me, which is a primary reason I won’t buy it. However, it is very well sculpted imo.

Fallen246:

If it lost the wings, it’d look flippin’ awesome.

slev:

I’d agree that the wings are a weak point. If they where bigger and more integrated, this would be awesome.

Willmark:

Easy fix, just give it bat/dragon like wings.

clam:

Grimstonefire
Spot one - and my biggest issue regarding Scibor's Moscal sculpts.

Don't care how evil these might be in their background fluff - if they dont look evil at all.

all-in-all these Moscals just look like cold climate dwarfs - only thing that comes close to what I like is the Shaman and mutant snails (which reminds me I still haven't bought ???).

Obsidian:

Too massive/fat and the wings are plain ugly! Not what I was hoping for when I first saw the work in progress!

Baggronor:

The legs are soooo fat :o It ruins the Bull silhouette imo, part of the reason they look so powerful is the contrast between the huge body and the relatively thin legs.

I like the wings, just not on this model; they’d be great on an eagle or Demon Prince. Reckon he should have just had a Giant Bull without wings tbh.

How would that ever fly?
True, however that can be applied to most large fantasy flyers  Cows aren’t exactly aerodynamic either, its a wonder GW ever got away with the old Taurus model.

Baggronor
True, that might be it. I don't get the feeling it's a bull but more a rhino (although that would be one weird shaped rhino I guess! :yar ) with a bull's head stuk onto it...

Baggronor:

I don't get the feeling it's a bull
Well, the head is way too big, the body is too short and the legs are like a Shire Horse (the hooves look particularly horse-like, despite the cleft). Bulls just don't move like that. Makes me think he hasn't actually looked at any real bulls. I'm in Artist Criticism Mode and so am being especially harsh though, the sculpting itself is good, just the groundwork is shaky. Anyhow, he can get his own back on me when I sculpt one :)

Thommy H:

You can’t build a house on unstable foundations. Could be the most awesome mansion in the world, but it’s going to be a pile of bricks pretty soon if you construct it on sand.

Zanko:

I like the Bull, very sturdy - cool!

… but the wings … a no go! I don’t like the feathers, the form and the proportions!

The rider is also very disappointing! He looks like a normal trooper without a helmet!

Like warh mentioned a lord needs a helmet, and a shield!

All in all nice model, not outstanding but a lot of converting potential! Will I buy it? It depends on the price!

m3lvin:

What the F… eathers?

Wasn’t expecting this at all, and as many others I’d rather liked some dragon wings on this one. Perhaps he wouldn’t want to get that close to the resemblence of great taurus for copyright reasons, I know I wouldn’t :stuck_out_tongue:

Still though It’s not that hard to turn this into a chaos beast,

In fact it begs for it, buy some nazgûl wings from GW bitz-pack,

give him a cool helmet, shield and some spikes.

the crackles in his skin an that big base just screams

“give us some lava lightning effects”!

now let us see someone do just that

as others stated, the bull is pretty compact and bulky, but imo still fit the theme pretty well,

since that resembles the character of the dwarfs it serves.

A stunty muscular dwarf on a normal high bull would look pretty wierd, not even the GW great taurus have the right proportions.

perhaps the dwarfs to small to get up on a normal sized bull?

Scibor is a great sculptor, although his ideas somtimes can be quite different.

I can alteast say that his minotaurs kicks ass compaing to GWs new ones!

Scibor is a great sculptor
He really isn't.

Baggronor
Oh yeah, so how *did* the cow fly over the moon then? ;) *

I must agree with the general criticism though. With some plastic LOTR wings it could work.

*I'm referring to some children's rhyme or something that I only know of passingly so I might not be making a proper cultural reference.
