Hey all. I am having a slight problem: I burnt a video of a tutorial that I’d made onto a CD (not a Chaos Dwarf ) and I have just tried to upload it. Youtube accepted the file fine, but the length of time was too long, so I decided I’d trim it down where I can, rather than making a brand new one. Now, the problem herein lies that the single video file appears as so:
I’m not sure how to get this into Windows Movie Maker so that I can start tinkering. Any help would be greatly appreciated…
Shame to hear that they’re not free. My alternative is to remake the tutorial and refine it. The original tutorial had my voice a little bleurghier than usual, I was doing all of the GS as I went along (no “show how to do” followed by “here’s one I did earlier” followed by “the next step”), the lighting wasn’t great as I did it at night and I squashed some GS part way through. It looks like it might be best to simply redo it in a better fashion that isn’t almost half an hour long (too long for a tutorial of the low-ish standard that it was).
There might be some free ones, I just don’t know of any. When I looked into it a few years ago there weren’t any free ones that did more than 5 minutes, there might be a few now.
I'll try to have a look, but may well wait until I'm a bit more awake, lol ;P
Hashut's Blessing
BUT! there are lots of freeones, but unfortunately there are lots of 'lets pretend they are free to our downloaders, let them get 99% through their rip, and then tell them they need to buy the 'pro' version in order to get a rip saved.'
I had about a day of downloading and rejecting those, finally followed by one that works for free really well, only problem was it would do 10 free, then tell you to buy the full edition.
i'll see if i can find out its name tonight of my old pc.
If you could find out it’s name, that would be excellent! (Slaves will be to you if you find it ) I don’t have the patience to sift through loads that make me pay at the end. It’s not the first type of download that I’ve found that’s like it…
