It’ll be interesting to see how the army plays. Hopefully they’ve playtested it moderately well and all the worries people seem to have about Speed of Asuryan will prove unfounded.

Use magic and chariots to take out high elfs? Um, hate to sound like I’m whining (I kinda am) but I might have to agree with willmark. Chariots would be devistated by magic, monsters and bolt throwers; and good luck getting spells off with the new drain magic rules.

Correct, Grunts. Basically chariots (if the rule plays out like everyone is saying does: that it trumps SoA; which may not wok that way). Is going to be the most expensive point sin on the board for my oppenent should they be anywhere near my swordmasters! Chariot Death, Death Chariots, you’ll be well acquainted… very soon!

Of course countering with the whit lionchariot could be the answer. I forgot the exact stats but they put any other chariot to shame.

- its bad ass on the offensive, but will die easilly to even meager shooting. str 3 shooting can even take down rather quickly a t4 4+ AS chariot.

Still watch out! Charge range of 18" Yikes can’t imagine anyone will get much shooting on it before its into combat mowing down the enemy.

The only other thing to mentionis that Silver Helms are now special, so thats a lot of armies which now would have had insufficient core choices under the new rules. Unlike GW to miss a chance to make people buy another overpriced regiment set!
