Just buy the ones from titan wargames =D. But I think taking gw’s for infernal guard can be very expensive(atleast if you horde them)

Go the warriors of chaos great weapons fit, or do you have to get creative?You'd probably have to cut and swap their axes with Chaos Warriors great weapons (easiest way) extend the hafts of their axes (trickier) or go for full-on cutting and chopping and repositioning of arms (hardest but will look the best).
Or stick the great weapons on their backs...

But I do like Bolg’s little solution a lot. Have racks of different weapons for different units

I used the metal chaos warrior great weapons and simply sculpted new elbows

I simply would get basic Infernal Guard, glue their weapons and hands horizontaly, and sculpt the handle (green stuff, wire, etc).
Remember they do not lose their shields when equiped great weapons.

Incidently, over the next month I will be putting together a package of things to send off to a contract caster. Great weapons being one of them. 
Presuming he comes back with a decent quote for the cost.
Getting IG with great weapons to rank that are not just standing in the same pose is actually very hard I find.
