I have some questions for you guys, but first of all… I’ve read the Tamurkhan Chaos Dwarfs army list: can I use it or I have to use Ravening Hordes to play Chaos Dwarfs?

You can use Tamurkhan;)

wonderful!
then i’ll paste some of the questions I already made to other people (who answered to one of them and showed me this wonderful forum!). Please remember that i’m not a native english speaker, so some of my questions could sound stupid:
2) deathshrieker rocket launcher: when using demolition rockets in which way the hit is resolved? I just don’t understand if it works like a strenght 8 cannon which (hopefully) kills just the first model it hits and never scatters (I hope it works this way) or if I have to scatter once and resolving the attack on the model I hitted (if I hitted something).
3) can the bull centaur taur’ruk take the “CD only” magic items? It could be a stupid question but since bull centaurs are chaos-modified dwarves I don’t understand it
4) breath of hatred: since hatred works in the first close combat round should i cast this spell on the first close combat turn or i can cast it in other turns and give hatred to my units even if it isn’t the first close combat turn?
5) is there a single reason to take a chalice of blood and darkness?
Now i’d like to have some advices:
6) are ranged weapons worth their points on the chaos dwarf infernal guard? I think GW or HW+shield are better since dwarves have poor BS, and even if hailshot blunderbusses are nice for the “no-penalties” rule they still hit at strenght 3 and have a 12" range. Fireglaives would be better since they have better range and strenght, but they will often hit on 5s, and since both the options are not cheap i wonder if cannons are enough to soften up enemies before killing them in close combat with GW or block them with 3+ armor save and 6+ parry to flank them with some other stuff
7) are chaos dwarf infernal ironsworns worth their points? I don’t think so because CD have better special choices IMO, but i could be wrong

It just doesn't 'home in' on a unit if it misses like the Deathshrieker ammo does.

3) can the bull centaur taur'ruk take the "CD only" magic items? It could be a stupid question but since bull centaurs are chaos-modified dwarves I don't understand itI think this was answered in a FAQ on the Forge World site and unless I misremember the answer was no.
4) breath of hatred: since hatred works in the first close combat round should i cast this spell on the first close combat turn or i can cast it in other turns and give hatred to my units even if it isn't the first close combat turn? The spell just gives them Hatred, not a special sort of Hatred so I think you have to cast it on a unit on the first turn they're in combat.
5) is there a single reason to take a chalice of blood and darkness?Yes it's to reduce your opponent's dispel pool while hopefully not depleting your own power pool too much. If I recall correctly, a few months ago one of the members here emailed FW to clarify when it could be used and the reply was that it can be used after you've rolled your dice to cast but before your opponent rolls to dispel, so you can blow all your remaining dice in one go on a killer spell and then use the chalice to remove all your opponent's dispel dice before they have a chance of dispelling.

They also fire D3 shots each, so if you field them 10 wide they can potentially fire 60shots as stand and shoot with no penalties. On average, against a T3 unit with heavy armour and shield theoretically you would do 10 wounds from stand and shoot (you fire 40 shots on average, hit on 4+ with rerolls so would hit with 30 on average, wound on 4+ which means 15 wounds on average before saves and your opponent saving on a 4+ bumped down to 5+ for armour piercing means on average 10 get through). Depending on how wide the enemy unit is, that's either one or two ranks they've lost to stand and shoot and unless the unit was 41 or more strong (or is immune to panic) would be a panic test.

the chalice suddenly sounds so good, even if it’s going to cause arguments with my opponents. I like blunderbusses, but i have to try them because i’m still not sure about them.
Can you provide a reason for taking a deathshrieker instead of a magma cannon, a dreadquake mortar or a chaos cannon? i really like the deathshrieker fluffwise, but it looks like the other warmachines are better…
Dînadan:
If you use the deathshrieker ammo rather than the demolition ammo, then it’s the one most likely to hit something because of its special rule. You also only need to cause one casualty to cause a panic test on the unit rather than needing to kill 25% of the unit in a single phase. Downside is of course the lower strength means it’s less likely to cause wounds.

The breath of hatred does work in every round of combat. The FAQ says that every round of combat starts as the first round for the purposes of hatred. As I read it, that would allow any hating enemies to get re-rolls too…

gashnag:
Breath of hatred is in the FAQ if cast onto a unit already engaged in close combat and it gets the bonus of hatred even if it isn’t the first round of combat so that even if it is a remains in play spell at 15+ as it’s empowered version you can keep casting it each turn to keep your units in re-rolling for hatred as long as you can or want
