Vogon:

These things are awesome models, I saw the painted one up close at the open day.

Cheers

Niblebitzer:

Model is nice and I like it. Rules for that thing are other thing and those I don’t like.

beefcake:

Quite a cool model. But where are the bull centaurs!!! Come on FW!

brotsorrow:

Im still not impressed with this model. I wish FW fantasy models were more “usable” to current armies… Majority of the models for fantasy are just bigger versions of something in game, and we really can’t use it :frowning: At least with the 40k models you can incorporate a large amount of the models into a current army.

What do you guys think? Would you not rather see a kit to upgrade an empire steam tank, a new goblin spider rider, a fancy dwarf organ gun… or just bigger squigs, dragons, daemons?

Naagruz:

Silly, but I hope the tyranids are impressed.

Similarly, I’m hoping this model is part of a buy one-get-one-free promo. I feel genuinely bad for those folks who would buy it outright.

40K definately gets a better FW deal.

It was only last year there was near enough 0 warhammer models so i count my blessings.

Admiral:

That poor peasant is going to be eaten by Squigofungus Rex. Hilarious thread title and FW model.

vulcanologist:

Ha ha! Great model!

This message was automatically appended because it was too short.

Kera foehunter:

Must see the Woman is resin … because the squig suxs

Unless that the woman !! now lets see the impressive squig !!

Bolg:

Not a huge fan of the model… nice teeth but why 6 eyes? It could have had some more scars, spikes and chains for my liking.

Baggronor:

It’s awesome, but I do feel it could have looked more comical though; Squigs aren’t exactly a serious concept. It looks very bipedal too. I would have done it more squat, like a massive, evil-toad pose.

beefcake:

6 eyes and in the descrpition they describe it as cyclopian. I understand it can mean really large but it’s not the first image it conjures in my head.

Thommy H:

Yes, “cyclopean” actually means enormous, not one-eyed. It’s a bit confusing, but it’s worth remembering that the word Cyclops translates as “ring eye”, so cyclopean, as a word, says nothing about numbers of eyes. It literally just means “relating to Cyclopes”.
