So, I received a newsletter from Dreamforge that they are having a kick starter to switch to plastic. And with that the awesome and huge ( 8.5" !)leviathan crusader and Mortis will suddenly be affordable. I have already started on my Destroyer conversion, sadly, but for everyone else that want one this guy might be a good idea (and I just might get one too, just because…):

That looks a little too “pinnacle of modern technology” and not enough “summoned fire demon” to me. I think it would take a lot of effort to make that into something Chaos Dwarfish.

I think it’s an awesome place to start! Throw on some Chaos bits and you are good to go! I went and found an Iron Man toy that looks similar, but it only cost me around $15 with shipping.
