So I’ve come up with a design for something that could feasible be a chaos squat or a cd.
I was only planning to sculpt a chaos squat in terminator type armour but its quite close to fantasy.
Where I’ve fallen short in my planning is designing a suitable Sci fi gun as I’ve never done that before. I’m thinking something like an underslung bolter to make it look heavy. One handed.
Anyone got ideas or something inspiring?
The idea is to sculpt it all, in the unlikely event I cast them. So not using converted parts.

I’m not sure I quite understand what you’re getting at, but perhaps you could look at the 40k Grey Knights for inspiration.

I’ve given this some thought hen and then today. Sorry, I couldn’t think of an alternative bolter-style gun which might fit your sculpt.
For uniqueness you could always make an underslung minigun (much smaller than assault cannon) to count as Stormbolter.
Abecedar:
Underslung beneath the arm, handle like joystick thingie in the fist, multiple barrels of course,and then tubes and belts. add a spikey bit here and there and ta-dah
