Hello… Been lurking about the forums for a while now. Just started gathering minis to put together a small chaos dwarf army for a bit of fun really. Got the throne of chaos book for Xmas. Been wargaming for nearly 20 years now - on and off - but little ones appearing in the family have slowed things over the last year or so!
Going to try doing my army on a budget using some of the really inspirational ideas ive seen on these forums! Will be posting pics of the bits I’ve done so far later!
Cheers :hat off

Hello guys and girls! Some of you may know me as “Hashut” (very original I know) from the hand of hashut www.chaosdwarf.com forum which seems to be all but dead. I have taken a break from fantasy wargaming for the last 4-5 years but I do plan on changing that now. Also searching for the owner of any of these miniatures if you might have migrated to this forum:

I am looking forward to discussing our favorite stunties. :hat off

Hi, Im ZigZags and I am starting my chaos dwarf army finally and new tot he forums. Been playing Warhammer since 95. Hello everyone!
bigdark:
Hello! I’ve been drooling over the Chaos Dwarf models for months - I have recently come into possession of a complete Battle for Skull Pass box and I will be Chaos-ing, Chaosisizing… corrupting them in the name of Hashut using the guide on the website. I look forward to sharing.
I will be otherwise occupied for another month until I can get to the BFSP conversions - in that time I hope to glean as much information on how to beard up my new babies. And then I will Hobgoblinning the Night Goblins into my slaves as well.
I have the death shrieker rocket model from forgeworld on the back burner and found a deal on the k’daai fireborn models. Reeeeeeeeeally interested in making a K’daai destroyer conversion so that I can curbstomp a friend of mine with an Ogre Army.
I look forward to seeing everyone’s cool Chaos Dwarfs and getting a chance to put mine on display!

Hi! My name is Sean and i am an alcoholic… wait wrong forum!
Im a canadian based gamer! I started warhammer 13 or so years ago when i was a wee lad, and then gave it up when i realized it was too expensive for kids! While i was in college and clearly had too much time on my hands i picked up some dark elf models and a skull pass set to paint, for fun… in my “free time” and eventually assembled a few… umm… thousand points worth of dark elves. I have since added the other elf armies to my trifecta… and after a few years of having no toughness or armor i thought hey lets play an army that doesnt die in the passing breeze! And now im here
yay go team bad guys!
Mendryll:
Hello here. Im Mendryll from Bavaria (Germany). I´ve been lurking around here for some time now … think it´s finally time to introduce myself .-D
I´ve been a wargamer for some time now, starting with Battletech in the late 80s and playing Warhammer since the early 90s with my still favorite 3rd Edition. Even back then I played Chaos Dwarfs as part of my Khorne Army (remember Realm of Chaos - Slaves to Darkness). Then in 94 I stumbled across the “new” (better different) Chaos Dwarfs in White Dwarf.
I´ve quit Warhammer during 6th Edition, focussing more on historical wargaming and tabletop roleplaying, but with 8th Edition I was caught again (best Edition since 3rd).
Sadly I´ve had sold most of my Chaos Dwarf stuff, but I´m getting now back into the hobby, having already spend hundreds of euros on minis
I´m a long term member of a tabletop club that meets weekly to play mainly warhammer, so the little tall hats face opponents on a regular basis.
And btw, a lot of awesome stuff is shown here. Congrats.

Hello,
New member but I’ve been visiting the site for years. I am starting a CD army after having been away from the hobby for 10 years. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
Ps. thank you all for helping to make this such a valuable resource for like minded Dawi Zharr!

Hey guys,
I’m St3v3, all the way from Bulgaria in the east
New to the Chaos Dwarves, but not new to Warhammer in general.
Just ordered my new Chaos Dwarf army last night from Forgeworld. Reading the FAQ on starting an army makes me think what I did is not a very popular option around here…
Please let me know if you think I made a mistake by ordering the FW stuff.
I just really like the Fw models.
Anyways. Models ordered:
40 Infernal Guard
2x command group
one package of 3 Demonsmiths
Deathshireker
Magma Cannon
Iron demon
Planning to get my hands on 40 (60?) Night gobbo archers and 10 goblin wolf riders.
Kadaii destroyer I’m planning on sculpting myself if I can’t find a suitable model to base a conversion off of.
See you around
Nebukadnezza:
Hey there folks,
I am a 21 year old Aussie who has been collecting Warhammer/40K for five years.
I very seldom play games, but I like painting and collecting. While browsing the web for sundry wargaming information I came across this great site. I have been very impressed with the dedication, creativity and helpful character of the community here and some of the great projects it has completed.
Having read some of the Indy Chaos Dwarf army books I was impressed by some fairly original and interesting fluff in the midst of WFB’s fairly generic and cliched (in my opinion, I still like it though!) setting.
Add to that the great Babylonian aesthetic the Dawi Zharr have, and I became very interested in trying to muster some plastic evil beardiness myself.
Inspired by the great work of:
JMR (http://chaos-dwarfs.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8965),
Clam (http://www.chaos-dwarfs.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8090&page=1)
and N!tro (http://www.chaos-dwarfs.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8016&page=1)…
…I now am planning to buy some Mantic Dwarfs and convert them to Tjub-style bighats for the glory of Hashut.
My first attempt at sculpting was two days ago, but the green-stuff beard, tusks and push-pin big-hat decorations on an unsuspecting spare Tomb King skeleton warrior turned out nicely enough to encourage me to embark upon the road to Zharr-Naggrond.
Abecedar:
welcome fellow aussie. that makes four or five of us now (I think).
minionboy:
Well, I had about 10,000 points of big hats that was stolen about 8 years ago… Now it looks like I’m getting started with Infernal Guard! Couldn’t keep me away from Hashut forever!
Nebukadnezza:
10,000 points STOLEN?
Wow. Care to tell the story?
