WhyNotCrashDifferently?:

Howdy, new here.

Slowly converting a big-hat army from Dwarf plastics and Dwarf rules whilst trying to stay faithful to Chaos Dwarf fluff and history. Sort of.

Once I find my camera and produce something worth photographing, I’ll get some pictures up.

Cheers.

Hellu cd community!

Stumbled upon this site browsing other warhammer forums. Looked around the site and I got enlightend from what I saw and read here.

I have always disliked the chaos dwarfs and almost hated the ugly little models that gw painted in bright red colour with extremly ugly hats. But here I have seen some awesome converting and even the old models looks cool if painted correctly. I have totally changed my mind now and decided to convert my own cd army, haven’t begin yet but soon I will give it a try (got the bfsp dwarfs to practice on, those beards looks like a tough fight to do). Gotta increase my skills in greenstuffing!

Well cya all around here

Regards

Did you buy any chance click on my signature reading:
Think Chaos Dwarfs suck? Think again.
?

Haha, I use that at The Warhammer Forum and Warseer, and I have always wondered if I had actually changed anyone's mind! lol

Welcome!

Can’t remember where I found the link but the link did direct me to the picture gallery part of the site, so maybe maybe could be you

Welcome to your new home I'm the local Orc who seem to have a fond likeness to you spiky, stuntys :hat off

You are the local Orc, but you have an avatar of an Elf!

Hi Everyone! I've been posting a bit around, but figure I should introduce myself. I'm from Da Warpath and saw your terrific webzine. I play an all mounted list and your webzine made me think about Oglah Khan's Wolfboyz as a Dogs of War unit. I wanted to find out more about them and hobgoblin wolf boyz in general, so I came here. I was thinking I would make up a bunch of them, but ended up buying some regular hobgobs on ebay.

While I was here, though, I found out that I like Chaos Dwarfs! Well, I haven't played a game yet, but I think they could be quite cool. I'm also someone who likes to tinker with what people say sucks and make it work. That's what got me using a warlord on wyvern in 6th Ed and now find they are almost standard in 7th Ed. So, I have made a few bids on ebay, but mostly been outbid. I'm going to look at making my own Cd heads, making casts of them, and then using them on BfSP dwarfs, if at all possible.

Thanks for a good forum and hope I didn't offend too many people as I investigated the most affordable way to make molds and save money.

WhyNotCrash, Aeons and Groznit, welcome!!!

WhyNot, where in Canada are you located!? we’ve got a nice little collection of us now. and find your camera!!!

Aeons, so glad you don’t like the big hats (I don’t either) and that you realise there are many alternatives for CDs

Groznit, pleased to see our hard work on the webzine is paying off, and thanks! lots of Willmark’s time is dedicated to that and I think it shows. plus if it’s pulling in new members, then we’re gold!

I think this is directed at me? I found the link on Da Warpath. Someone named Cornixt posted there that it was out and I decided to check it out.

I will say that the first battle with Oglah Khan was OK. He did great in helping to smash some dragon princes, but he overran into a unit and was flank charged before he had a chance to really lay into them. I'm thinking he will still do good, but I haven't seen it yet.

Time of Madness:

Hey guys and gals.

Just thought I’d introduce myself (even though I registered a long while ago). I’ve been playing warhammer now since 1996. Back in 5th edition I owned a large Chaos dwarf army (big hats) that I ended up selling. I currently reside in Ontario Canada and have a local group of friends I play with on a regular basis.

Over the last few years I have had the urge to put together another big hat chaos dwarf army. I’ve been lucky enough to come across a large chunk of models to start my army off.

I look forward to being a daily contributor on these boards.

I’ve been playing gw games for quite a while. i have about 12,000 pts of chaos dwarfs (only bout 6000pts painted though!) and am just starting a new CD army based on the dwarf list. this is on top of my high elfs, dark elfs and orge kingdoms all over 3000pts a piece but hay. Hi!

Xander:

Welcome led571! We’d love to see pictures of your Chaos Dwarfs!
